Remembering Kishore Kumar

Did you know it was recently Kishore Kumar’s birth anniversary? Kishore Da was born on August 4, 1929, in Khandwa. He went on to become one of the most renowned Indian film playback singers and was also an actor, lyricist, producer, director, screenplay writer and scriptwriter. In addition to Hindi, he also sang in many other Indian languages, such as Bengali, Marathi, Assamese, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Bhojpuri and Urdu.
